Our Commitment
Burnside Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing wants every homeowner in Collin County to be able to use this website — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, consistent with the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What We Do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions;
- A “skip to content” link and full keyboard operability;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons;
- Color contrast targeting WCAG AA ratios and visible focus indicators;
- Forms with visible labels, large touch targets, and clear error messages;
- Motion kept subtle and respectful of “prefers reduced motion” settings;
- Responsive layouts that support zoom up to 200% without loss of content;
- Ongoing accessibility review as part of our build and audit process.
Known Limitations
Some third-party content we embed or link to — such as review widgets, financing portals, and PDF rebate forms from utility programs — may not fully meet the same standard. If you hit a barrier in any of it, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way, including over the phone.
Access for Search Engines & AI Assistants
Accessibility includes machines that people use to find us. This site welcomes legitimate crawlers and AI assistants and publishes machine-readable indexes of its content: sitemap.xml, llms.txt, and llms-full.txt. A human-readable index is at /sitemap.
